Credentialing
Where the certificate stands, and where it is going.
An Axelis certificate is issued by Axelis. It is not a degree, not a qualification under any national framework, and not accredited by DPIIT, the British Council or AIRC, each of which recognises the company rather than the credential. That is printed on the certificate and it is printed here.
The steps below would change that. None is complete. Each is listed with its real status, because a plan a credit team can verify is worth more than a claim it can disprove in an afternoon.

MEP/Q4401, Career and Education Counsellor — NSQF Level 5
A national qualification already approved by the NSQC on 28 July 2022, owned by the Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council. NQR code 2022/ETR/MEPSC/06152 v1.0, 18 credits. Its official description covers linking candidates to education opportunities "in India and abroad", and it maps to NCO-2015/2423.0100, which names "Admission Counsellor" and "Education Consultant" in the national framework.
Why it matters. It is the only exact-fit national qualification for what Axelis actually does, it already exists so nothing has to be written, and a credit officer can verify it independently at nqr.gov.in. Delivery is 290 hours classroom or 250 blended.
Status. To be scoped. Requires NSDC training-partner registration, then centre accreditation, then roughly ₹6,000 per job-role affiliation. Centre accreditation involves a physical inspection, which is the real constraint for a company without a classroom. Whether blended mode is permitted decides whether this takes weeks or months, and MEPSC can answer that in one call.
Read this carefully. It certifies the counsellor, not the student. It creates a new financeable programme sold to graduates who want to become counsellors. It does not reclassify a fee paid by a student going abroad.

ISO 21001:2018, Educational Organisations Management System
A management-system standard for education providers. It certifies how the organisation runs teaching, assessment and learner support. It confers no academic or vocational recognition on any course.
Why it matters. Supporting evidence for delivery and refund governance, obtainable in parallel with everything else.
Status. Not started. Take three written quotes and use only a certification body listed on the NABCB directory, carrying the NABCB or IAF mark. ISO 21001 accreditation has only existed since 2022 and the market has mills in it; a certificate advertised at a few thousand rupees is worth nothing.

Goethe-Institut or Alliance Française preparation alignment
Formal recognition as a preparation provider for the B1 examinations the language programme already targets.
Why it matters. The language programme is the strongest candidate for external alignment because it already maps to a published international framework.
Status. To be scoped

NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime
The MeitY and NASSCOM co-branding route that AlmaBetter uses.
Why it matters. Listed here to close it off rather than leave it as an open question.
Status. Not applicable. FutureSkills Prime is a digital and deep-tech initiative covering AI, cloud, cyber and data, and NASSCOM eligibility keys off revenue from IT services. This is why AlmaBetter’s route cannot simply be copied.
Every certificate is checkable.
Issued certificates carry a unique ID that resolves in a public register. A revoked certificate reports as revoked rather than as missing, so a revocation can never be mistaken for a typing error.
